Saturday was messy, snowy day. Much of southern Wisconsin accumulated several inches of snow and we were all bracing for another wave that night. But despite the wet and cold, 30 people came out to watch a 40 minute slideshow on global warming.
The group included a dozen high school students from Belvidere, IL, along with a dozen friends, family and Orchard Ridge United Church of Christ congregation members.
Lots of great questions came out of post-presentation discussion and I’ll be sure to post some answers in the coming days.
In the meantime, thanks to all who came–particularly the students from Belvidere. You took a big step toward making your world a better place and you give me a lot of hope for the future.
